01 Who we are
This website and the buyback service described on it are operated by the company below. Where these terms say “we”, “us” or “our”, they mean that company. Where they say “you”, they mean the person selling or offering a device.

02 What these terms cover
These terms apply to the purchase of used mobile phones, laptops and similar electronic devices through this website, by phone, at our premises, or by collection from an address you give us. They do not cover anything you buy from us; that is covered by the invoice and warranty terms given at the point of sale.
By submitting a device for inspection, or by accepting a final offer, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not submit a device — you can decline at any point, including at your door, at no cost.
03 Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to sell the device.
- You must be the owner of the device, or authorised in writing by the owner to sell it.
- The device must not be stolen, lost, reported, or subject to any third-party claim, and must not be blocked by an operator, insurer or manufacturer.
- Where we ask for identification, you must provide genuine, current documents in your own name.
04 Quotes are estimates, not offers
The price range you see on this website is an estimate calculated from the answers you give about the device's condition. It is not a binding offer and it is not a promise of payment.
- Estimates are held for 48 hours from the time they are issued.
- The estimate assumes the device matches your description, powers on, and is free of activation locks.
- Only the final offer made after inspection can be accepted, and only that figure is payable.
05 Inspection and our right to refuse
Every device is inspected before we buy it. Inspection is free of charge and takes roughly ten minutes. It covers nine condition points — screen, body, battery health, camera, speaker, Face ID or fingerprint, charging, water damage and repair history — plus the IMEI or serial number, which we check against our purchase records.
We may decline to buy a device, and we may end an inspection at any time, if:
- the device is stolen, blocked, or subject to a third-party claim;
- it carries an activation lock or a device-management profile you cannot remove;
- it is not as described, or the IMEI or serial number does not match the device presented;
- identification cannot be verified, or the person presenting the device is not entitled to sell it;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or money laundering.
Refusal costs you nothing and we will return the device to you immediately.
06 How the final price is set
Each model has a base buy price published on this website. The inspection result then applies standard adjustments for the condition points above. The same rules that produced your online estimate produce the final offer, and every adjustment is shown to you item by item before you decide.
If an inspector proposes a figure different from the calculated result, that is an exception, it requires a written reason, and it is recorded against your order. You can see the reasoning on request.
07 Payment, cash and VAT
- We pay on collection, after you accept the final offer — in cash, or by bank transfer if you prefer. We do not pay in advance of inspecting the device.
- We issue a purchase receipt for every device we buy, showing the amount, the method and the device identifiers. Keep it: it is your proof of sale.
- We buy from private individuals. No VAT is charged on our purchase of your device. Where we later resell a device, VAT at the applicable UAE rate is charged to that buyer and shown on their invoice.
- Payment is made to you, in your name, against identification you have provided. We do not pay third parties on your behalf.
- Bank transfers are made to the account details you provide. Check them carefully — we are not responsible for a transfer made to details you supplied incorrectly.
08 Ownership, locks and blocked devices
By selling a device you confirm that it is your property, that no other person has a claim over it, and that it is not subject to a financing plan, insurance claim, lease or rental agreement.
Removing locks is your responsibility. Before we collect a phone, sign out of the manufacturer account (for example “Find My iPhone”) and remove any screen lock you do not want to disclose; for a laptop, remove device-management (MDM) profiles and any BIOS or firmware password. If a lock prevents us from testing or erasing the device, we may decline the purchase or revise the price to reflect it.
If we later establish that a device was stolen, blocked, or sold without authority, we may report it to the police, and you agree to repay the amount paid plus any reasonable costs we incur. We also co-operate with law-enforcement requests concerning devices we have purchased.
09 Your data
Back up anything you want to keep before you hand the device over. Once we take custody of a device, the data on it cannot be returned to you.
You choose how your data is treated when you book, and you can change your choice before handover:
- Erase and resell — all user-addressable storage is erased with certified software to a recognised standard, the completion log is checked, and the device is inspected before it is offered for resale.
- Destroy the storage — the storage media is physically destroyed, so recovery of any data from it is not possible. The device itself is then sent for material recovery.
We issue a certificate of data sanitisation for the chosen treatment, naming the method, the standard applied, the operator and the date. It is generated from our order record, not typed by hand.
We do not read, copy, index or retain the contents of your device. Where storage media cannot be erased successfully, it is destroyed instead, and the certificate records that outcome.
We do not promise that data recovery is impossible in every conceivable circumstance, and we are not liable for data you lose. What we commit to is the method above, applied and recorded. Our handling of personal data is described in our privacy policy.
10 Devices we do not buy
If a device has no resale value, we will usually still accept it for recycling at a licensed facility for material recovery. No payment is made for scrap-value devices, but the data treatment you chose still applies and a certificate is still issued.
We do not accept devices containing gases, liquids, radioactive material or batteries in a damaged or swollen state. Tell us before handover if a device is in that condition.
11 When the sale is final
Once we have paid you and you have signed the purchase receipt, ownership of the device transfers to us and the sale is complete. There is no cooling-off period for a device you have sold to us.
The exceptions are narrow: if it later emerges that the device was not yours to sell, was blocked, or was materially misdescribed in a way that could not be detected by inspection, we may ask for the sale to be reversed and the amount refunded. Nothing in this clause limits your statutory rights under UAE law.
12 Our liability
We are responsible for the device from the moment we take custody of it until we pay you, and we keep it secure in the meantime.
Otherwise, and to the extent permitted by law: we are not liable for data you lose or fail to back up; we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses; and our total liability for any claim relating to a device is limited to the amount we paid for that device. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law.
13 Complaints
If something has gone wrong, contact us first — most issues are resolved the same day. Give us the order number from your receipt or the reference on your data certificate. We aim to acknowledge a complaint within two working days and to resolve it within fourteen.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may raise the matter with the relevant UAE consumer-protection authority or, where applicable, the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority.
14 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your sale is the version published when you booked, and the date at the top of this page tells you which one you are reading. Material changes will not apply retrospectively to completed sales.
15 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where UAE law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
